In Te Maunga we went swimming. We learned how to safely go to the swimming pool. My favourite part about swimming was the monkey climb. I try hard to not touch the swimming pool floor.

Check Out This Great pepeha art work!
At Te Maunga we’ve been doing some art about our art. We used pencils to draw our Maunga, awa and some waka on an A4 paper. Then we used pastel to color our maunga and awa. My favorite part of that was finding whakatauki and writing it in our art. I try hard to make the colors into different colors.
What Do You Know About Tsunami?
Last week Friday March 5th, the whole of Paihia evacuated because of a Tsunami. We went to the hill and we kept moving up and up. The best part of the evacuation was I laid on the cloth on the ground and watched the sea. I learned how we can save ourselves from a Tsunami.
