 In Te Maunga we have been doing some science experiments. We’ve learnt about how to make an experiment. One thing I liked doing was making a slideshow about your experiment. I learned that the hypothesis means guess.

Cool Science with Nano Girl

 In Te Maunga we have been doing some science activity with Nano Girl. During the activity I learned how to make a science experiment. One thing I liked was having a photo with the whole of Paihia School and Nano Girl. I was trying hard to listen carefully to what Nano Girl was talking about. 

Matariki

In Te Maunga we’ve been learning about Matariki. We’ve been learning about what Matariki is. One thing I liked doing was making a kite. I learned that Matariki is also called Pleiades. 

Awesome Measurement

In Te Maunga we’ve been doing some measurement activities. We learned about measuring, weighing and temperatures. My favourite part was doing the activities. I was trying hard to tell my group what I did for the question in each activity.   

 

Astronomy

In Te Maung we did a T-shape Literacy about Astronomy. We learned about the Moon, Sun and Matariki facts. One thing I liked to learn was how to write an explanation about the Sun. I was trying hard to write as many facts as I could in my explanation.

Team Building

 In Te Maunga we’ve been doing some Team building activity. I learned how to give instruction to my team.  One thing I like to do is play some team building games with my class. I try hard to let my team win the games.

Hauora

 In Te Maunga we did a T-shape Literacy about Hauora (Health). We were learning about what muscles and plants need. My favorite part was making a scratch animation about how muscles work and what they need. I learned that plants need water, sunlight and soil to grow.
